I worked as a Resident Advisor for freshman students at UC Davis for two years, responding to conflicts, policy violations, and mental health and academic concerns in order to facilitate a healthy learning environment.

As part of RA training, I completed diversity and inclusivity certifications, and participated in weekly diversity seminars. This work as an advisor led me to learn more about the importance of community, and developed my interests and skills in leadership, public speaking, creating and managing events, and conflict resolution.
