The mercedes

My 1992 Mercedes 300E was a constant project for the 9 years I owned it. I spent many hours with friends working on our cars. My personal experiences include head gasket replacement, suspension, sunroof, stereo and speakers, EHA valves, window regulators, transmission, and more. And a lot of vacuum hoses— I had an old Mercedes.

The Lexus

I upgraded from the Mercedes to a used Lexus CT200h. This hybrid has been a very welcome change. Things were looking a bit grim when the head gasket blew. Fortunately, I have some amazing and talented friends who were able to help with the repair.

Motor Trend Internships

I spent a week at Mazda Raceway (Laguna Seca) with Motor Trend during their Best Drivers Car 2016 and 2019 testing. I helped with logistics, ground support, and driver data collection and interviews. I also got to take some hot laps with Randy Pobst. In 2019 I also worked with the Motor Trend team at Vandenberg Air Force Base for the Worlds Greatest Drag Race event.
